MY VISIT TO SANCHI

  On  5th march 2016 with my classmates and teacher i went to a heritage place called Sanchi . It's a place 46 km north east to Bhopal . It's very famous for it's great Sthuphas. It's a religious place and holy place for People who follow Buddhism.It was commissioned by the great emperor Ashoka the great in memory of their God  called Bhudda .The biggest and the main stupa has four gates around it with simple hemispherical brick structure built over the relics of the Buddha . The gates present the life and special moments of Buddha  through art.
I learnt many interesting things about sanchi .
This visit helped me understand different belief systems around the world.
I developed myself as an open minded inquirer.
